Your Body is a Battleground?

Continuing on the series for the second Episode, all of the lovely characters are now set for the new season plots and twists to come. For the first time since season 1 I actually see a real good cliffhanger at the end of the episode. What will Emmett do about his information on who is slashing tires at Carlton? That is the biggest questions that will be in our heads for the next 7 days. Another surprise too, came to Daphne to find out Campbell has a girlfriend, maybe now we will see her getting more involved with Jorge..as we know these girls are never alone for too long.

The most adorable character, Bay is really out of her element in a hokey field, but we do get to see her finally noticing Emmett a little and even at the end, apparently they are going to hang out at the pizza place, something they haven't done even in a group since that dramatic prom over 2 years ago.

Something I personally liked to see how much of John Kennish is in Toby, the tough coach, showing around the marriage ring on his left hand and fighting for the team to continue and grow.

John himself on the other hand, became a very difficult character to describe or predict. Kathryn too. The Kennishes relationship since the beginning were the strongest one in the show, they are married for over 20 years and they should know each other more than anything. They were tight, romantic and supportive of each other, yet this season we see a scared Kathryn that lies to her husband instead of talk about her problems with him as she used to. And John seems to be not confident or lacking the memory of how his wife is(or was) to be doubting of her with another guy after all those years. If he seem to notice any changes on her, he would have talked to her a long time ago, like he used to on season 1, but no, it doesn't seem he noticed anything, so why would he doubt of her? They are most definitely not making sense anymore.

The one thing that I am still missing is more deaf interactions on the story lines. Aside from a few scenes with Emmett, there are almost no ASL spoken on the episode.

For all that is worth, episode 2 was an amazing episode with lots of fun stories and a great dynamic back to the old times when the episode did nothing but catch your whole attention.
