Lizzy Weiss and Switched at Birth Season 4B

Lizzy Weiss, the creator of Switched at Birth, talked about Season 4B and the premiere episode airing today. Of course, there will be a lot of drama coming our way, but we can see this season is promising to be the best season yet!!

What can we expect of season 4B?

Bay tries to get her life together, Daphne explores a relationship with someone appropriate for the first time in a while, the Kennishes face a crisis, Regina gets the truth about Eric’s past, and there is an unintended pregnancy in the family.


Is there a major message or discussion you will be approaching on the show like the rape story? Or is it still too soon to reveal it?
As I’ve alluded to, there is a controversial story as well in this half of the season. And it will begin in the premiere.


From some previews we can see the premiere will be very emotional, Toby cries, Bay cries, Travis is sad..is there any hope we will see any happy story? Or all those sadness will develop into the season?

Great question! That promo was pretty emotional! And it’s all real, we do have, as always, a lot of meaty stuff happening, but we definitely have joy and laughs and line dancing and shirtless hot boys, too.


The part the most fans wants to know is whether or not Bay and Emmett will ever be back together. Obviously we will need to keep watching but our question is; is there something Bay and Emmett will learn about their relationship, attitude or decisions that led them to disconnect to a point of breaking up?

Yes, you’ve hit it on the head. The premiere dives into Bay’s heartbreak as she obsesses about the break-up and what went wrong and she does come to some kind of answer. There is more to come later with Bemmett as well, a big episode and a twist.


What did you like the most about writing this season?

Truthfully, I just love working with my team - Paul, Linda, Terry, Bill, Dayna, Henry, and Bekah, plus our incredible assistants Darla, Colin, Beth, Alexander, and Jess. I’m incredibly lucky to have a job where I’m around a group of intelligent, funny, hard-working, creative people for hours on end as we sit around and make up stories about a bunch of characters that we love. We are on hiatus and I miss them! How many people can say that about their coworkers?


What is your favorite part or scene of the premiere/season?

We do something kind of crazy in the premiere, we took some chances doing something we’ve never done before, and I absolutely love how it turned out. You’ll know what I mean when you see it. And I’ll talk about how we shot it after it airs.


Do you have any message to the fans?

It’s been a joy to watch people online express their excitement about the show coming back and how much they’ve missed it. It’s also really fun to read about people who discover the show for the first time and gobble it up quickly because they become addicted. The first couple episodes are going to be pretty important in terms of gauging people’s interest in the show for Season 5, so if they want more, they should definitely watch.

Switched at Birth Season 4B: The Pregnancy Theory

Ok, this is not Sean related, but we couldn't resist. @leakthompsonposted this pic which shows in the back a decoration that can be seen as a "baby shower.. It"s a Boy" (no, it is not Emmett's brother/ Debbie's baby shower: 1st, by this time she already gave birth, 2nd; Kathryn and Regina have nothing to do with her, they may have never even met her) so it is obvious that neither Regina(@goconstance) Melody (@themarleematlin) and Kathryn (@leakthompson) are pregnant (Well, the spoiler said the pregnancy would affect the Kennish family, so Melody was never in anyone's thoughts) But Bay and Daphne??? Although it seems to me that Daphne(@katieleclerc) is not the one, this picture can still be a bit misleading as some pregnant women don't lose the nice figure that Katie is showing here, so I won't rule her out just yet, but as for Bay (@realvmarano) we can't see anything at all, could it be that she has her fake belly costume and is hiding it behind the mothers?? If it is in fact her, the question remains.. Is it Tank's or Emmett's?? Melody is a friend of the family, she could have been invited no matter who is pregnant or who the father is.. So yes, the question remains.. Yet, the clues are appearing little by little!! And IF it is Bay & Emmett's baby.. My hopes are that the baby will be just as lovely and Deaf as the father!! 

And we just now got the answer for the previous post!! It is NOT Bay who is having the baby shower, nor Daphne. Here we see @katieleclerc with the same dress as the polemic picture from @leakthompson showing she is not the one, and clearly @realvmarano is not either. Although we didn't see her full body on Lea's pic, we can see enough of her dress to conclude it is also the same as in this pic. So, in view that the unexpected pregnancy will affect the Kennish family, these pictures leave us with one more clue, Toby is the only Kennish left and may be the one who is having a baby. Unless, of course, the writers come up with a new Kennish we never knew existed.

Comparing Lily's (@rachelshenton) dress on the pic Marlee shared (left) and the pic @katieleclerc shared a couple of days ago (right) it looks a bit rounded figure, on Rachel's pic on the right, with her being the only one wearing a loose dress when everyone else are wearing tight dresses, we now strongly believe that the pregnant character will be Lily. Yet, nothing is carved in stone until we see the episode airing. Good night everyone!!

Season 4b Rumors

So I have heard many kinds of rumors for part B for season 4. Here is a list of the rumors I have heard ,and I am here to clear up if they are true or not .

.someone is going to get pregnant (fact)

.someone is getting married (not sure)

.Sharree comes backs (fact)

So yes it is a fact that someone is going to get pregnant. Lizzy wrote on here twitter saying someone is going to get pregnant so yes indeed it is a fact. I have heard from several people that someone is going to get married on the show. I think if anyone is going to get married its Regina and Eric (the coffee shop owner). YES GUYS SHAREE IS COMING BACK!!!!!! I don't know about you guys but I love Sharee! She (Bianca) posted on her instagram five days a go with a pic of her, Vanessa, and Katie saying "Guess who's backkkkkkkkkkk!!!!!" So who's excited for season season 4b and what it has in store????? :)
